What if it rains?

Consider an indoor or undercover space to put the inflatable movie screen up.  However, if it is looking like rain 48 hours before your event, we will help you to reschedule another date for your event.

What is your cancellation policy?

a. Cancellations made up to three weeks prior to event date will receive a full refund.

b. Cancellations made from three weeks to 72 hours prior to the event will receive 50% refund of the total cost.

c. Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to event date will not receive a refund.

What type of events are suitable for outdoor cinema hire?

The outdoor cinema world is your oyster!  We have supplied our outdoor cinemas for a variety of events – extra points for creativity, but here are a few;

Birthdays, anniversaries, hens, bar/bat mitzvahs, proposals (Yes!), family reunions, musical nights, date nights, school events, graduations, festivals, uni social events, business launches and AGMs, fundraisers and on and on and on….

Do you supply the movies?

Unfortunately we don’t, we supply everything but the movies!  However this is super easy to navigate.  The set up supports hard drives, DVDs (including Blu-Ray), connects to a laptop with a HDMI/USB-C (MAC device).  You can even stream your favourite series through Netflix, Stan, or connect to a gaming device for some enlarged Just Dance or beloved video game! Anything else please send us an email and we will answer other queries.

What about movie licensing?  

We do not provide licensing for movies. If the movie shown is at a private residence you do not require a movie license.  If the event is held in a public space then you will require a license to screen a particular movie. Do I have to pay for damage to the equipment?

Yes, when you book with us you will receive a breakdown of our Fees and Penalties as well as Terms and Conditions.

Do you charge delivery?

Costs range from $30 – $100 and is dependent on location.  This will be calculated automatically when you book based on a radius.

Do you offer local pick up?

We can offer this if the location you wish us to deliver to is outside of our travel zone. We offer collection from Donvale, Victoria. Please email us on hello@frontyardflicks.com.au to ask – We love trying to be creative with helping customers out with their cinema experience!

Do I have to set up?

Yep!  We run a busy cinema delivering schedule and don’t always have time for this. Please don’t be afraid – it’s easy! We operate as a delivery only service, but provide detailed instructions via email following a booking, include a Customer Information Pack in your cinema package and explain things clearly when we deliver the equipment. It takes between 10 – 20 minutes depending on the screen size.  We are only a phone call away should you run into any problems.

What if I don’t have a backyard?

Fear not! Our mattress-style inflatable screens are versatile and can simply rest up against a flat surface.  Check us out on Instagram and Facebook for customer inspo!  We have had customer pop them up indoors, loungerooms, garages etc. We can also tether them to something outdoors.

Can I show a movie during the daylight?

It is advised for optimal viewing for it to be dark.  However if you can manage to darken an indoor space that would also work too. For examples indoors, in a shed or man/woman cave!

Do you delivery to regional Victoria?

We would LOVE to spread the Frontyard Flicks joy to our neighbours, it will be a 2 night minimum and will depend on the location.  Please send us an email and we will get back to you ASAP hello@frontyardflicks.com.au

Do you hire for the day only?

We are flexible with our hiring times and would love to hire for the day only (Holiday programs, indoor movie sessions, work presentations, events  – provided the area can be darkened).  Please get in touch and ask before booking hello@frontyardflicks.com.au
